SUPPORT FUNDRAISING FOR TAIWAN VICTIMS

Please find the original Appeal Letter from Taiwanese Council.

Through our business association network, we wish to support by whatever we can to raise more fund to help sufferers during this crisis. We earnestly appeal for your donation to help the people in need. All donations, either individually, collectively or on behalf of your company, will be greatly appreciated. Every single dollar counts!

This fundraising will be closed by Tuesday August 25, 2009 – 3:00pm. All donated fund will be registered and collected to the Taiwanese Council in HCMC and transferred to the Taiwan Red Cross's Relief Center afterwards. The temporary handwriting Receipt will be issued at HKBAV office, the official acknowledgement will be sent to all donors afterwards.

親愛的會員：

相信各位會員經已獲悉有關近期颱風「莫拉克」對台灣中南部以及東部地區造成嚴重影響，其中颱風帶來的暴雨使台南、屏東、高雄、嘉義、南投及台東等縣市多處地區出現嚴重的水災和泥石流等災害。針對此次嚴重的災情，胡市台灣商會經已發起募款賑災活動，請參考呼籲原件。

本會希望通過商會的網絡呼籲各位會員伸出援手，踴躍捐輸，支持此次急不容緩的募款活動，為正在處於淒風苦雨的台灣同胞們獻上一點心意及關愛。善款金額不限，可用個人、集體或公司名義募捐，盼積少可成多，點點滴滴將會給災民帶來不斷的支持！

截止時間為2009年8月25日星期二下午三時正。所有善款將清楚記載並於截止時間後集結通過胡市台灣商會轉交台灣紅十字會。本會盡可能為各位捐款會員提供臨時收據，而有關正式收條將會在善款轉交後向各位捐款會員回報。
